The i-van works together with partner organisations to deliver youth provision across Buckinghamshire & beyond. Our aim is to reach as many young people as possible in the area, particularly those who may feel isolated due to geographical or social circumstances or other factors. Because i-van is a fully mobile multi-media van we are able to access hard to reach areas & therefore go directly to where the young people are. We are passionate about giving Young People opportunities, all our projects are created by young people from inception right through to completion. Not only do young people have the opportunity to produce an outstanding project, we also facilitate & encourage them to share the project outcomes with their contemporaries or members from other agencies.
The i-van was created through a Big Lottery grant by Kids Out in 2007 and is one of a number of projects within the newly merged organisation of Community Impact Bucks. We are a fully sustainable social enterprise, which means that we charge for our services but any profit is reinvested into the project to ensure its sustainability & to continue to develop & improve.
